Pernambuco 

With free entry, Espaço Ciência is located between the cities of Recife and Olinda, in Pernambuco. Occupying an area of ​​120 thousand m², it combines exhibitions set up indoors with hundreds of interactive open-air experiments. It also has a Planetarium, Auditorium, Amphitheater, Exhibition Hall and Educational Center, as well as a Manguezal (‘Mangrove area’). Without a doubt, quite an outing! São Paulo 

Mundo do Circo SP returns with its program of shows from January 17th and will host the  Festival Circo SP, completely free, from January 24th to 29th. Great leisure option for children and adults! The Sala São Paulo, headquarters of the Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo (‘São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra’), also has a free program in January, with classical music performances in the afternoon and evening. Pará 

Espaço Cultural Casa das Onze Janelas (‘Casa das Onze Janelas Cultural Space’) is a reference for Art in the North region, with a wide collection of modern and contemporary art, as well as photography, from local and national artists. It is housed in a building built in the 18th century, which was originally the residence of Domingos da Costa Bacelar. The museum is located at R. Federal District 

In Brasília, the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (‘Banco do Brasil Cultural Center’) has free activities until January 31st, highlighting the Ateliê de Criação Voo Livre, Oficina de Cerâmica Fria and the Sarau with Poetas da Cidade. Bahia 

With free entry, the ‘Máscaras – Entreatos do Acervo’ Exhibition brings together around 100 masks, 40 of which are ‘Geledés’ masks and 50 from other ethnicities of African people and will be on display throughout the summer at the Centro Cultural Solar Ferrão (‘Solar Ferrão Cultural Center’). Minas Gerais 

The Museu de Arte Contemporânea (‘Museum of Contemporary Art’) and Jardim Botânico de Inhotim (‘Inhotim Botanic Garden’) is located in Brumadinho, about an hour from Belo Horizonte. In total, there are 24 galleries, 9 themed gardens and dozens of external works. In January, there is an educational program and mediated visits, in addition to temporary exhibitions by the Programa Abdias Nascimento (‘Abdias Nascimento Program’) and the Museu de Arte Negra (‘Museum of Black Art’) and activations at Ateliê Rubem Valentim (‘Rubem Valentim Studio’). With free entry every Wednesday, ticket collection is always done at Sympla and is subject to capacity. Children aged 0 to 5 are free, regardless of the day of visit. Rio de Janeiro 

Museu Eva Klabin (‘Eva Klabin Museum’) has organized workshops on artistic practices, providing free fun throughout the month of January. Soap bubbles, shadow theater, rap creation, memes and other activities are included. It takes place between January 3rd and February 4th. Another option is the CCBB children’s film exhibition. During the holidays, the Museu da Vida Fiocruz (‘Fiocruz Museum of Life’) also prepared several educational activities, in addition to workshops, exhibitions and visits to the Castelo da Fiocruz (‘Fiocruz Castle’). In January and February, the Museum will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 4pm. All the activities are free. The museum is located at Av. Brasil, 4365, Manguinhos. Paraná

In Curitiba, the vacation program at the Biblioteca Pública do Paraná (‘Paraná Public Library’) is full of attractions for the children. The entry is free for all activities, but be aware because on the days of Cine Pipoca and of the workshop “Onde Nascem os Ventos?” (‘Where are the Winds Born?’) there will be ticket distribution to the public. Espírito Santo

In Vitória, the highlight is the set of attractions linked to non-formal education in the municipality, such as the Planetário de Vitória (‘Vitória Planetarium’), the Escola de Ciência Física e Escola de Inovação (‘School of Physical Science and Innovation’) and the Escola de Ciência, Biologia e História (‘School of Science, Biology and History). With a special program for the month of January, there are presentations of sessions and fulldome films in the planetarium, guided tours and activities at the Escola de Inovação and workshops on adrinkas, the bottom of the sea and paintings on canvas at the Escola de Ciência e Biologia.
