As the year comes to an end, we’ve put together the main initiatives from Lupa do Bem in 2025 to wrap up the year while leaving us eager for what’s next. Among the highlights are the new learning platform, Lupa Learning, and the Communication Guide for NGOs and Community Projects
Since its creation, Lupa do Bem has acted as a catalyst for impact, boosting the work of NGOs and community projects. Here, we use communication strategically to showcase stories filled with dedication and hope in the pursuit of a better world. Through our official communication channels and partnerships with other media outlets, we’re proud to see how these stories are reaching farther and farther.
We also believe that skill development is essential to ensure autonomy for these initiatives. That’s why, throughout 2025, we dedicated ourselves to increasing this impact by promoting courses and training programs, producing support materials, and connecting the initiatives to a broad network of social responsibility.
From the new Lupa Learning education platform, to engaging NGOs around the COP 30 theme, connecting projects with companies, and launching the Communication Guide for NGOs and Community Projects, everything was crafted with great care for our audience.
As the end of the year approaches, it’s time to look back at the best moments of our journey. Check it out!
COP 30
In the year Brazil hosted the United Nations Climate Conference – COP 30, in Belém, Lupa engaged with a series of content initiatives. Widely regarded as the most important meeting in recent years, the event was marked by strong mobilization from organized civil society.
At Lupa, we joined this movement as well, contributing to raising public awareness about the event and highlighting the importance of grassroots organizations in the discussion. A major highlight was the video series on COP 30, created in partnership with community leaders and NGOs. The videos explained a range of topics and concepts related to climate-change negotiations, helping democratize the conversation.
We also joined the collaborative audiovisual campaign led by Lab_Experimental and partnered with MultiCop, an organization that mobilized NGOs and projects for official side events. Finally, we took part in the SP+Verde Agenda, the largest pre-COP 30 event in Brazil, held in São Paulo just days before the conference.
Communication Guide and Lupa Learning
Here at Lupa do Bem, we have already mapped more than 500 grassroots community initiatives over the years, maintaining active contact with them, sharing their stories and listening to their challenges. From this ongoing dialogue, we noticed a growing demand among community leaders for skill development.
Promoting the development of competencies for working in the third sector was therefore a central focus this year. We created the Lupa Learning education platform, which offers courses, training sessions, and workshops. The launch featured an unprecedented beginner’s English course, developed in partnership with the NGO PLT 4way. There were also workshops led by specialists such as Carolina Sampaio, Joanna Calazans, and Flavia Lang, covering topics like fundraising, project management, monitoring, and evaluation.
To further enhance this experience, we also launched the Communication Guide for NGOs and Community Projects, an ebook with tips on how to build effective communication strategies and strengthen both online and offline presence. Among the recommendations, the guide highlights ways to engage communities, paths to create websites and newsletters, methods for building fundraising presentations, and even a special chapter on how to use Artificial Intelligence to streamline processes.
Everything was produced with great care and high quality to serve our audience, who can access this valuable knowledge free of charge.
Presence in Latin America
We’re building solid networks! In 2025, in addition to our established presence in Brazil, Lupa do Bem reached 10 more Latin American countries, including Argentina, Mexico, and Peru, bringing new stories of people and projects that contribute to a fairer and more sustainable world.
Our articles are published in three languages and have significant reach thanks to partnerships with national media outlets such as Causando/Catraca Livre, and international ones like InnContext.
We also expanded the reach of Lupacast, with episodes available in Portuguese and Spanish. As a result, our social media channels also became bilingual, and our WhatsApp community keeps growing. By the way, are you part of it yet? If not, come join us!
Projects and ESG
By giving visibility to so many initiatives, Lupa do Bem has become a bridge between companies and NGOs. Several companies have approached us to develop joint actions aligned with their ESG policies. As a result, we partnered with ManageEngine, which hosted 15 girls for an immersive tech experience at its São Paulo office. The activity was carried out with the NGO Mais Meninas Na Tecnologia, which is part of our Lupa do Bem network.
We also partnered with Lumisphere Experience (an immersive cultural sustainability program), which provided free cultural access to 120 children, youth, and adults from vulnerable contexts, beneficiaries of four NGOs mapped by Lupa do Bem. And there was also the partnership with MultiCop, which used Lupa’s network to boost the participation of initiatives in its climate conference, held officially and in parallel with COP 30.
Awards
The results of so much dedication couldn’t be better. In 2025, Lupa do Bem was recognized as a finalist at the PR Week Awards in the Corporate Social Responsibility category; it received two Honorable Mentions, one at the PR Week Purpose Awards in the category Best Use of Technology or AI, and another from Ragan Communications in the Community Affairs category. Finally, we received the SABRE Awards Latin America 2025 prize in the Social Responsibility category.
Happy Holidays!
